When I was in school I remember they were trying to teach us the standard units of measure at the same time as the new Metric system. Then all of a sudden they announced no bother they were not going to the Metric system. What was behind the decision to switch and then not to?

can you please list all of the conversions (length, capacity, weight) from smallest to largest? just the simple stuff ya kno tbsp, tsp, gram,kg, cm, in ( dont go into the complicated stuff)

ex.

10.00 mm = 1cm
