Hello my name is Rob and I am working with matrices.



I am having a problem when it comes to fractions in matrices such as:



-25 -3 | -13

10 1 | 6



This is what I have done so far:



-1/25 * R1 è R1 which gives me:



-1/25 * -25 = 1 and -1/25 * -3 = 3/25 but know here is where I get messed up: -1/25 * -13 = 13/25 I know the answer is 41/25 but how did my book get 41/25





Please help, I am in need of fraction help!

I am selling tickets to a game, wherein I toss a coin. If it's heads, I give u one rupee; tails, the game stops. The game can have infinite chances, provided heads keep coming. What will u be willing to pay for a ticket, or what should be the fair value of a ticket?

I would like to insert mathematical equations in articles written in .doc or .html . Is there an easy to use software that lets me just choose the symbols, operators, Greek alphabet that I want and insert it at the point I want? Preferably a Free software. Thanks.

What is the difference between differentiability and continuity of a function? Is it possible that a function not continuous at any particular point is differentiable at that point or vice-versa?

Your boss has given you 100 dollars to go buy some chickens from the farmer down the road.your boss tells you he wants you to spend the whole 100 dollars and bring back 100 chickens no more no less he also said that you must buy at least 1rooster, 1hen & 1baby chick.... when you arrive at the chicken farm you see a sign that has roosters 5dollars each hens 1dollar each baby chicks 5cents each now how many of each do you have to buy to spend the 100 dollars and bring your boss back 100 chickens? ( remember you must buy at least 1 of each )

i withdraw some money from bank. i wrote Rs.X and Paise Y.
The cashier by mistake gives me Rs.Y and Paise X.
I spend Paise 50 and i remaind with the money 3 times what i wrote on slip.
find X and Y
