I mean, the theory is that amino acids eventually form together to make DNA, which then evolves into more complex DNA to create life. But how could amino acids form together to make DNA since the cells which make these acids to create DNA is made from the blueprints of DNA itself? This is conflicting so did I get the theory wrong?

Also, I think that there are 20 are so different amino acids, with only a few workable combonations, so if amino acids ever did somehow randomly hook together, the chances of a DNA strand being made is slim... am I right here too or is my thinking flawed?

Thanks please leave an explanation not just a "no" or please confirm if "yes"

For 24.15 - 20.32, would you need to round to 4 significant digits, since it becomes a number less than 10?

I know that when you subtract up and down, when no column has both non-significant digits, then you just make it 3.83? No need for four significant figures?

Samem for 22.55 - 20.33? would be just 2.22, and if it was 20.13 - 20.13, it would just be 0.00?

Significant digits are kind of confusing I guess..

Also, for 0.09/ 3.66 x 100%, would this be rounded to something like 2 percent? just 1 significant digit? and why?

Materials and Methods:
50 paper cups were used for this experiment. 100 milliliters of room temperature water was put in each cup. 10 cups were set aside in 5 groups so that 10 cups were in each group. In the first 10 cups, 25 mL of Wesson vegetables oil was put into the cups. In the next 10 cups, 25 mL (5.07 teaspoons) of Morton salt was put in the cups. 25 mL of Tide laundry detergent was put in the next 10 cups, and 25 mL of Rutter’s 1% low fat milk was put in the next 10 cups. 10 cups with 125 mL of water was then left for the control. These 50 cups were put under 5 lights each with 5 new 60-watt light bulbs. The light was spaced out evenly so that each cup received the same amount of light. Each cup was measured once a day for depth of the substance and the average was found for each group twice a day. The experiment went on for 5 days.

Whould I change anything? My teacher asked how I can I tell that only the water evaporated and not the substances? Any input?
