this is how the experiment went: We first did an experiment proving Boyle’s law. 1) We got a meter stick with plastic tube tied to the stick with rubber bands and a stopper. 2) We recorded the atm in the lab room. 3) With the stopper removed we pored 1 cm of water in the tube so it was even on both sides of the tube. 4) We put the stopper on one side of the tubing. 5) We measure the level of the water on the side with the stopper, and the height of the whole side of the tube with the stopper. We did this in order to get the height of trapped air. 6) We recorded this volume in our lab book. We then recorded the level of the water on the open side of the tube. 7) we then added 10cm of water to the tube and recorded the value and did this until we reached the top of the tube.

I have a bottle of drying, clumpy white-out. It's over half-full. I suppose I could buy a new one, but I would like to know if there is any way to fix it instead. I was thinking about acetone, but I don't know. Any ideas? White-out is petroleum-based.
