I have a science question that I'm stuck on, and it's something along the lines of this: Beech Trees have small green flowers. Explain why insects would not be the main source of pollination for Beech Trees. What is a more likely method of pollination?
Any info would be great, thanks!

Seriously.. How can you read a tree? By its rings, to see how old it is, and what it's been through by the spacing of the rings??

We are making salsa and got to thinking about why tomatoes are fruits. I was told it was because the seeds are on the inside. If this is true then a cucumber, jalapeno and many other vegitables would be fruits too. Huh...?

I found a ton of plant eating caterpillar on my blue-spruce like plants. They are pretty small, and very much worm-like. They are all clumped together in different parts of the plants. They are greenish with a blackish pattern on their back. Their head is like reddish brownish and they are disgusting. THEY ARE EATING MY PLANTS!!!! Help me please.

I want to test the consciousness of plants. I am looking to buy four plants...two I will pet, kiss and water...and two I will just water regularly.

I need a plant that is less resilient...with a short life span...so I'm not waiting years to get my results. I live in New York.
