If you have a hyphenated name can you just use one or must you use both? And which one is the true last name is it the first of the hyphenated name or the last hyphenated name? If you have a child do you put mom's first or dad's first?

I'm looking for any suggestions. My older son's name is Jacoby. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet. I really want something unique this time plus my partner named our first so it kind of falls on me this time. I was thinking either something that starts with a J sound or C since we sometimes call our older son Coby or Coco. What are your favorites that start with these letters?

I know these aren't human, but I'm stumped. We have a newborn litter of Bloodhound puppies. This is an "M" litter, so I need names for 6 boys and 6 girls. These pups are going to be trained for Search and Rescue. Thank-you!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby in January 2008. We are not sure of the sex yet, but will be finding out soon.
