I played this when I was a kid, in New Zealand...so I'm not hopeful that you'll know it!
It had levels, if you broke a box a ghost could come out and chase you, something to do with earning and spending coins....and there was a motorbike part?
It had a really catchy tune, lol.

My 8 yr old son has been asking for a guitar. I bought him one of those electric guitars at Target for $79.

Now I saw something called Guitar Hero II. It looked really cool & looks easier to play than a real guitar (only 6 top buttons) vs multiple chords & finger positions.

Now I was stuck wondering if I should buy this too, or return the other one?

I asked the teenager there if it was fun. He told me that it was hard to play... and HE's a teenager!

So I said, well, I guess it's a no go for an 8 yr old then!

Anyway, your thoughts?? A small 8 year old? Could he handle it?

If no, how about an almost 12 year old that didn't mention he wanted a guitar, but like's playing his recorder flute?

2) Which is better, Hero I or II? He told me about something better with #2 (improvement) I forget what it was.

BTW, I got the eye toy a few years ago, and although you can get it to work somewhat with patience, they played twice and in the closet it went.
