I like to play them, but they do get very repetitive. Only thing they really do is just add new and spiffiery graphics. Yet I keep getting them and playing them for about a month. =)

I love them! DYNASTY WARRIORS RULES!!!!!!!! I only have Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, but I've played Dynasty Warriors 5 and Dynasty Warriors Advance. My favorite characters are Taishi Ci, Cao Pi, Cao Cao, Pang Tong, and Lu Bu. But yeah, I LOVE Dynasty Warriors.

Not really all the series are very similar.. If you want to play it go ahead but don't buy other ones. The voice acting sucks and personally, i think its just a hack in slash game...

I like it as a single game. But after a dozen games that play EXACTLY the same I have to say that the "series" has been rather disapointing.

i should hate these games for how repetitive they are... and yet, i like playing them. i guess i'm just a sucker for oriental warfare, plus some of the characters are really fun to use. my personal favs are Sima Yi and Zhao Tai
