It's always the premium channels that have all of the actually good shows (there's pretty much nothing on cable worth watching besides sports...and soon you'll have to pay for all of those too). Showtime's, "Dexter" with Michel C Hall has got to be the coolest, most artfully-done, edge-of-your-seat, keep you guessing show I've ever seen.
I guess this isn't really a question, just advice to those who want something good to watch. Do yourself a favor, rent/buy the first season on DVD and then rent/buy the second when it comes out next year (however, do not, under any circumstances, start the second season without watching the entire first one!)
