Am I the only one thinking that this just gets worse and worse with every season? Come on, wives taping up their windows and seaking places to stay whenever there is a tornado WATCH. Well, here in Indiana, I might as well never take the tape off! And, then that scene when Lynn is running with Karen and a small bbq thingy falls in front of them, so they are forced to run the other way? Come on! I am so sick of thier stupid lead ins to a better plot and then it gets whisked away...like that woman that opened the door, and got whisked away by the tornado? Really, how long do they expect us to watch this show before we realize that there is nothing there? I realize it's a Comedy/Drama, but there is no excuse for bad writting! I feel like they are insulting my intelligence!

I know I some times feel the same way. The show continues to go nowhere. But the real question is how come I can't take it off my tivo?

YES you ARE NOT alone.
I used to be a huge fan, but i soon realized that it was a going nowhere fast. The "plots" are so poorly written it's comical. Apparently the writers took their bit of whimsical charm, and magic goose and squeezed every possible golden egg out of that sucker.
It's simply terrible. Whoever thought that killing off people and random intervals made for good television should be shot. As is teh reason I am so proud of Grey's Anatomy and House. Two strong shows (not without flaw of course) that for the most part, churn out a good, TIVO worthy product.

That is why there are controls on the remote ....change it if you don't like it. I am sure that ABC feels very badly they insulted your intelligence . In all seriousness ....its a TV show. Lots of people enjoy the show , including myself. Yes, I think some things they do are really far fetched .....but no one is making you watch it. Maybe you should stick to the History channel or Weather channel where things are more REAL. .... I am not being rude but its obvious the show is getting on your nerves so CHANGE.

Its a tv show, come on! What tv series isnt laden with over dramatic scenes, thats just the way it is. Sounds like you might want to find something else to watch if it bothers you so much!
