can anyone remember.....?

there used to be a programme on some years ago with david desiderio who played a detective or cop in america and he was a single father to his daughter played by christina applegate, sorry dont know character names.
been bugging me for some time now...so had to ask...

paranoid...yes thats the one...wes kennedy i think his character name was and he had a daughter called robin, was it? the actors name is not david but robert desiderio....one season i think too.
