I get that he is after the "company" people for locking him up for 30 years but why does he want to wipe out the entire population? What could he possibly gain from that? There won't be anyone around to terrorize if they are all dead so what's the point?

I think he said something about he got tired of seeing so much inhumanity over the years. He figured it would take some MAJOR tragic event to shake people up and make them pull together, show more compassion towards one another.

(Yeah, he's cRaZy!!)

But I think he is trying to do this as a "catalyst for the greater good". Sort of like what Angela Petrelli was telling Nathan when he was running for Pres. Remember, she wanted the city to blow up "for the greater good". Out of the fear that event would create, people would look for a leader...who was supposed to be Nathan.

So, yeah, Adam's on that same line of logic.

I don't think you have missed anything. I believe that Adam thinks that the entire world is better off dead. He has been around for over 400 years. And with everything he has seen he feels everyone is better off dead.

Ok i know...
(reason to kill everyone) He want to kill everyone by releasing the virus because he believes that world is now full of bad people. he wants to make the world a better place for the children. This is how he thinks that he can save the world.
(reason to kill company members) To take the revenge.

He is tired of the world. He said everything leads to destruction anyway so he wants to end it, to start fresh. He's been around for 400 yrs and has seen everything. Too many wars.
