I recently saw an episode of family guy... the episode where they were fleeing to Texas after Stewie is allegedly possessed by the devil.

Anyway, on the road a blonde in a convertible pulls up and flirts with Peter... then she is hit by a truck.. Lois then says something like "well thats what happens when you date billy joel" i dont remember exactly what she says... but... WHAT IS IT REFERRING TO? WHAT IS THE JOKE?

I know it's because of what Michael Richards said...but why should that effect the whole show that stopped airing eight years ago? If you dont like Richards, then dont watch the episodes he's in. I'm not racist and I don't agree with what he said...I just love the show and think its ridiculous they would move it up to 11 pm.

do any people out there miss whose line as much as i do?
i mean, i just LOVE that show, and i am tired of just watching the reruns.
i know why the show got cancled(ryan wanted to spend more time with his family....aww...;))
but why cant they get back together for just one more show???

I am thinking about getting the complete 1st season of One Day at a Time. The only problem is I have never seen the show before. I have seen clips of it on a reunion thing and it looked like a good show. What is the show like? Would I waste my money buying it or is it worth it?

Personally, I think the show is one of the best on TV, but heard it was cancelled only to find out they are airing two new episodes. Even if these were already finished it seems the network is making a strange choice in playing them if the show is cancelled. Has anyone heard anything different?
