I am thinking about getting the complete 1st season of One Day at a Time. The only problem is I have never seen the show before. I have seen clips of it on a reunion thing and it looked like a good show. What is the show like? Would I waste my money buying it or is it worth it?

It's been a long time, but I enjoyed the show, it's about a woman raising two girls by herself, they dealt with real life problems, but in a very comical way, I believe you would enjoy it as I did.

Honestly, I haven't watched the show since the reruns in the 80s. I was only like 5 or 6 then.

I think it was a good show.....

If you had been a teenage boy when that show was on, you would KNOW that it is worth it.

mmmm.... Valerie Bertinelli.....

Now, juvenile fantasies aside, it wasn't that great of a show. If it's inexpensive, go ahead and get it. It had good jokes, and the interplay b/t the cast was very good.

For it's time - it was an okay show - kind of dumb at times - but the girls can really get themselves into some funny situations.
