I think Martin's character was funnier in his tv show, but I think that Sinbad's standup (on a whole) is funnier (though I did like Martin's "You so crazy".)

Martin Lawrence has Sinbad even in his sleep! Martin Lawerence is the funniest man alive right next to Chris Tucker.

Both are funny in different ways.
Sinbad is humorous and is funny without the 'language'.
But, I think he over-acts in trying to be funny.
Martin is naturally funny (like Eddie Murphy), hilarious and makes me laugh out loud. He also address humor from a real standpoint (i.e. raw). Whereas Sinbad is too politically correct.
Here's an example...Martin in both Bad Boys movies. He said normal things in a way that made you laugh, just everyday expressions/phrases with a twist. Classic!

Oh my gosh I don't like either of them, but I really don't like Martin Lawrence, so I will choose Sinbad as the lesser evil.

They are pretty funny but I would have to say martin from maartin, but I do think sinbad is hilarious!
