Television was experimental until about 1940 when a few stations began broadcasting. World War II shoved television onto a back burner and it did not become a major medium until the late 40's.

I remember when we listened to the radio at night like we later watched TV. Radio drama, quiz shows, variety shows, news specials, and much more were brought into the living room by this wonderful medium.

Then television came in and took its place. It's not bad, but somehow I think radio was better. I remember baseball games, the Indianapolis 500, political conventions, and more on television.

Who agrees with me? What are the chances old-fashioned radio could make a comeback--possibly through satellite radio?

So Jericho tv show fans petitioned against cbs to bring jericho back. we won.
so it was supposed to air on friday nights
i have not seen it at all. I did see some but they were reruns from the ending of last season. Is it gone? Did they pull it behind our backs? I loved that show. Best tv drama series I've ever seen. What happened?

I am not sure who the smartest is on all of TV, but from my favorite shows, here are my picks.

Law and Order: Criminal Intent
Definitely Goran, though Eams and Carver are pretty charp too.

My Name is Earl
Darnell. When they show clips from his past, he is usually portrayed as a genius.

My Name is Chris
This is a tough one. I generally think of Chris Rock as pretty sharp, so young Chris is a possibility. Drew is also a possibility, as he is described as being good at everything. However, since they are kids, it is hard to tell.

House
House, although most of the doctors on this show are quite sharp.
