Muchos' Gracias' for the responses, but what I guess I should have stipulated, why so many products with so many $19.95's? Guess this be the universal figure. Again, I thank's ya' for the responses...

To answer your last edit in my opinion:

19.95 is used because if they said 9.95, or 14.95, people might say "that's cheap, it must not be any good". If it cost 19.95, then people think "okay, 20 bucks isn't so bad, and if it were really worthless, they would only be asking 9.95 for it"

So basically, no matter what the product is worth, as long as it's under 20 bucks, it will be advertised at 19.95 because that figure will fetch the most sales.

Just an old grandma's opinion, lol, I may be wrong, but I'm sure psychology is a part of the answer to your question.

Well.... my guess is that in advertising (at one time maybe) $20 bucks sounded like a lot of money, but $19.95 was less than that. I truly think that our mind focuses on the 20 more than on 19 because its a round and whole number.

There is a science that is being developed just to shop EBay successfully. If your bidding, these books teach you to bid in very irregular increments. $12.04 as apposed to $12. I have used this method and many, many times won the item for 2 or 3 cents more than the previous bid. Interesting question though...

I have no idea about that particular number, I do know that marketers try to show their product being under a round figure. IE $0.99, $4.99, etc. Its just a psychological attempt by marketers is all.
