Within one second of a winner being announced at the Oscars, the orchestra starts up the theme music from that movie. The orchestra must have a little advance notice of who the winner is so they can be prepared to play that song right away. That would mean the winner of each award isn't as big a secret as the academy would have us believe.

I just recently saw the commercial for the upcoming 2007 season of Intervention on A&E. Just wondering if anyone knows who the band is that plays the background music?... It almost sounds like Snow Patrol, but it isn't it. Any help would be good. thanks

Hello all,

A clip from a British show is being emailed all over the States. I think it's funny, but I haven't yet found anyone who understands the line to the African guy ("this is not my sandwich.") Which show do you like better?

The Simpsons or American Idol? Me I like The Simpsons better (even though they are past their prime) cause it's not a reality show like American Idol is and I sure wish that more people would support the Simpsons message board instead of the American Idol message board cause the Simpsons has been around for over a decade longer than American Idol and people need to start showing their appreciation towards the Simpsons.
