I don't have cable, but for some reason, I still get a bunch of religious channels. (YUCK!) Occasionally, when I'm channel-surfing, I'll come across a movie on one of those channels. The movies are always poorly directed and have s**tty acting. However, I'll occasionally sit through one for a few minutes, since they're always good for a laugh.

I mean I turn it on and all there is is a bunch of junk, nothing is ever worth watching and the news is depressing. I could do so much more with my evening than sit in front of the thing like a zombie and space out for 4 hours before I go to bed. And I pay $50.00 a month for something that really isn't very practical. That could be a weeks worth of gas to get to work and back. Should I just get rid of the thing?

I asked for help last night for the challenge, was able to complete it, but I cannot figure out why the boat needed to go to St Petersburg. I searched and searched the internet and maybe I just missed something, but it is really bugging me. I thought that the boat was at Fulton, Illinois on the mississippi river. I breezed thru all the other challenges, but I would like to figure this one out. THanks!

I was at the library and saw the dvds available for borrowing and was wondering if the show in terms of story/writing/acting was any good. (Was wondering how Hal Sparks came off on camera other than VH1 specials) I've seen The L Word which I've heard is the better of the two even though they aren't created by the same people.

Could someone explain to me the appeal of the Jerry Springer show? I mean, whenever, you get a phone call and the person on the other end of the line says, "Hi, this is 'Bob' with the Jerry Springer show . . ." IT CAN'T BE GOOD NEWS, but day after day people will take the phone call, take the plane ticket(s), and make a fool of themselves on national television, and be proud of it.

Don't get me wrong, I'll admit that I was a bit of a fan about 10 years ago, but the story line has not changed one bit since then.

I guess it's just proof that everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame.

Please expain what you like/dislike about the show.

a few days ago i saw the funniest episode. Jerry has this blonde girlfriend .. and started makin fun of how her stomach makes loud noises at night when shes sleeping. he would image it talking to him.
"WHY HELLLO" .. he ends up telling his girlfriend the joke and she takes it the wrong way.. thinking that she is fat. after a few days of joking about it.. she says.. "OK.. its either me.. or the stupid jokes!?" he said.. ."well.. as a Comedian.. it would have to say.. My Jokes"... and they broke it off.
