I was at the library and saw the dvds available for borrowing and was wondering if the show in terms of story/writing/acting was any good. (Was wondering how Hal Sparks came off on camera other than VH1 specials) I've seen The L Word which I've heard is the better of the two even though they aren't created by the same people.

I think they are both very good shows.
I think QAF is great show about gay mens lives.
And the The L Word is also very good about lesbians and there there lifes.
Both are portrayed very well.
