I know I asked this yesterday.
I understand some people like quiet and more serene surroundings, four distinct seasons, very little hubbub, and a slower pace of life. Louisville is the only real urban center of Kentucky, and it's not really that large of a city. Otherwise, Kentucky is a very rural state that some dub as "boring," while others label it "hillbilly."
Regardless of its stereotypes and flaws, do you live there? Have you ever been there? Would you consider living there? Why?
I'm a native, so I know that the stereotypes about us aren't all true. But, I also know that I don't like it here. It's not very progressive economically, the small towns are very cliquish, and the people are by and large rude and impolite. I can compare, since I've already been to 20 states and a slew of major cities, and I'm just 21. I plan on moving to Texas next year!
