Depending on what it is for.... NEVER....

Is it a loan? like maybe you a buying a house and you can pay them back most parents dont have an issue with it.

Its only embarrasing if you already owe them money and havent paid it back as you promise and ask for more.

I know a girl that got divorced she was a stay at home mom. She has 3 kids and now has to figure out how to start a new career after 10 years of not having one. Her husband is required to pay alimony and child support. He doesnt and the state is after him. Where does she turn? To her parents and there is nothing wrong with that.

I dont think it is an embarassement, it just depends on your age. I'm 25, still ask my parents for help sometimes, but mostly, I pay my bills on my own.

Is there such an age. My son going on 22 with a good job still asks for money. Have you any change dad, I want to go to the shop, out for a drink, to get something to eat. The list goes on, but I love him to bits and while I have it he can have it.

I would think after 30, the reason I said 30 is because after 20 you start to take your own responsibility and ten years is plenty of time for you to grow and mature and know that not to ask or stretch your hand in front of your parents.
