Military bases have controlled access gates and secured entrances. They check ID's before letting them enter. Should a concept like this be installed for schools around the country? Like you could just show your school ID to get in. I think it's a good idea. If I'm spending a ton of money on college tuition to go to a school, I want to go to one where I feel safe. Especially after the recent event at Virginia Tech. I mean it's just far too easy for ANYONE to drive onto a college campus or walk up on a campus for that matter. I think if you're not paying tuition to go there or are not an employee of the school, you should not be given access to the school grounds. Is an idea like this too far fetched?
