Gee.. I have to think hard with this one.. I have to say that they are equally worse but feeling guilt is something really.. Well.. Regret has a huge package and so has guilt.. I have to go with regret. Guilt can be small in cases and regrets are kind of big but that depends on the scenario. If you think about it, you only regret things if you wish you didn't do it or happened. It can have many consequences on you and you can't be yourself.. Regret plays a little with guilt and i can say that they both work together..

Guilt. Regret can ultimately be rationalised, as in it seemed the right decision at the time. Also what you may believe to be regret is often guilt. you feel guilty because you made a poor decision, which at the time you deep down knew to be the wrong choice.

Guilt is relentless. To conquer it you must accept it. To accept it you must accept your own failings. Not an easy thing to do, but if you can do that it is a first step to being able to move on, knowing that the reason you let someone down is because you are who you are - a flawed, but nonetheless worthy human being

Regret is worse than guilt. Both feelings can be bad though.

Guilt is worse. I could live with regret just fine, I'll get over it, but guilt forces me to do things in order to make things "right".

I think guilt is worse because that is a feeling you would have to live with for the rest of your life. You have to live with regret for the rest of your life as well but it's not as bad as feeling guilty about what you did.

Regret, because guilt can be fixed if you came clean and did whatever it takes to remove the guilt. Regret can haunt because it's something in the past you can't change.
