With the mix of culture oin the USA, there are diffrent traditions in all aspects, excpecially when it involves food.

For example the menu at my house would include:

Fruits/nuts/breads ( prior to main meal time)

Turkey
Honey Baked Ham
Squash
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Stuffing
Peas and onions in a cream sauce
rolls
pies

I'm intrested in seeing what other people share with their families on Thanksgiving.

it's usually in the gutter but having look there only not to find it I don't know where it could be.

Michael Richards was heckled at the Laugh Factory this past weekend, and went into a racist rampage, calling the hecklers the "n" wordand also saying that "50 years ago you would have hung from a tree with a fork up your ***"; repeatedly calling them the "n" word, with more racist remarks. Michael then walked off stage and didn't do his show.

Comedians get heckled all the time; and some do very well with comebacks for the hecklers. Do you feel that Michael's hate-filled was necessary to ward off the hecklers? Should all comedians retort heckling with racist/sexist/religious hatred?

I asked this question in the military catagory, and so many people liked it, I thought I would continue to share it. It is the end of a beautiful poem where a soldier is talking to a civilian on Christmas Eve. Enjoy

"But isn't there something I can do, at the least,

"Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast?

It seems all too little for all that you've done,

For being away from your wife and your son."

Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,

"Just tell us you love us, and never forget.

To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone,

For when we come home, either standing or dead,

To know you remember we fought and we bled.

Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,

That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."

God Bless the soldiers who will not be home with their families this holiday season.

my nickname is "cool nerd." but sometimes, i get these extreme answers that contains very discriminatory comments. some said "stfu" or "f-word nerd" or "how can nerds be cool?"

if i changed the picture and name, i get a totally different response! why do people make such malevolent connections in their heads before seeing the truth?

Tell me. Did Micheal Richards (Cosmo Kramer) express his true feeling about African Americans when he was heckled by one during his performance? 1. Thugs or Fembots?
2. Do you know where some mutated sea bass can be acquired?
