Tell me. Did Micheal Richards (Cosmo Kramer) express his true feeling about African Americans when he was heckled by one during his performance? Was it an accident, will he be forgiven? some say his career was on borrowed time anyway. Is he done like an over-cooked steak? Did his racist remarks put the iceing on the cake?

Yes he is and who in this century refer to Black people as Afro Americans? Afro is a hairstyle not ethnicity. I am also tired of people saying that Black comedians joke about White people, well I have news for you, I am Black and don't like to see any race joked on because it is not right and there are plenty of Black people like myself that feel that way. I know the people that Micheal Richards said those remarks to, not one time screamed back any racial slurs towards him which proves my point. That sorry and lame Letterman apology was only an attempt to save his career. He was crying because his behavior could effect his pockets and anyone could make them self cry when losing millions of dollars could be at stake .There is no getting around this one! It is one thing if he just stopped at using the N word, a word that should not be used by anyone including Black people, but he described the vicious acts that were happening to Black people by racist people in the South. How do I know this? I did not have to read a history book to know, my grandmother actually seen a family member tortured and killed that way! America has to realize that Micheal Richards did not make this stuff up. That it did actually happen to Black families and as he said 50 years ago which is not that long ago. Black people are trying to heal from those terrible ordeals and his remarks actually opened up the scars that Black people have from those events. He gives White people a bad name who are respectable and loving towards everyone.

I think there are too many people upset. In time he might be forgiven but for the immediate future, I suggest he play it cool....I hope he has a nice savings account to draw from, because he might be living off it for awhile..Not too many producers are going to want him, until all is forgiven or forgotten, because it will affect how well, their show does in the ratings...

Micheal Richard is a racist idiot.His career was on the rocks,but after what he said his career just went down the toilet.He will be forgiven by some people.I'm not one of those people.I know my big sister has some Seinfeld dvd's I want to burn them all.

If he were a black comic there would be no issue, I have heard much worse things said by Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, etc. etc. about other blacks and whites. Racisim at it's finest, but they are black so it's O.K. Give me a break! Freedom of speech in this country only works for minorities and the super liberal politically correct media!!!

he was being heckled on stage, its hard enough trying to feed off of the audience and make them laugh, but when people start yelling at you instead of just leaving, some people just lose control, i think he will be forgiven, everyone is forgiven, and i understand that tthe n word can be used in comedic routines, but not when you are yelling it at someone, its not right, and he has apologized and i know when you are truley sorry you will be forgiven

Um for this answer you should've watched Letterman he was on there apologizing profusely, for his actions saying he wasn't a racist and he overreacted, and he was sorry!

probably not a racist but damn, how much can a person take? Here he is trying to do his comedy routine and there in the balcony is a large family of blacks doing what they do best, being inconsiderate of everyone else in the place. Talking at the level only a black in public can reach. I don't blame him. He should have had security throw their inconsiderate a sses out.
