With the mix of culture oin the USA, there are diffrent traditions in all aspects, excpecially when it involves food.

For example the menu at my house would include:

Fruits/nuts/breads ( prior to main meal time)

Turkey
Honey Baked Ham
Squash
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Stuffing
Peas and onions in a cream sauce
rolls
pies

I'm intrested in seeing what other people share with their families on Thanksgiving.

Turkey(baked)
Turkey(cajun)
Ham
Duck
Squash
Mac and cheese
Broc and cheese rice
Green beans
Dressing(kind of like stuffing) w/giblet gravy on the side
Some type of greens(collard or mustard)
black eyed peas(sometimes)
lima beans
spuds
rolls
pies(sweet potatoe,coconut)
cheese cake
and then usually everyone brings a "NEW" dish
something we haven't had for Thanksgiving before...
I'm sure I'm leaving something out.... but yeah....oh Yams

We have a huge family get together for Thanksgiving. Everyone brings a dish, so we have lots of different stuff, but almost the same thing every year. Turkey (Roasted & Fried) Ham Smoked Venison Smoked Duck Sweet Potato Casserole Green Bean Casserole Mashed Potatoes with Giblet Gravy Mushroom Rice Oyster Dressing Regular Dressing Corn Broccoli Casserole Kraut & Sausage (My aunt is Polish!) Congealed Salad Watergate Salad Pecan Pie Pumpkin Pie Cakes & Cookies

well, for my traditional thaksgiving menu,we dont have one and we maybe have turkey,but all my years that i lived with my parents we ate tamales,carne asada,and tortillas with salsa mmmmmmmm,all this talking is making me hungry im gonna go get a burrito.
