Okay...I am anchoring to go to the store and buy three DVDs, and I honestly have no idea what I am in the mood for. I have a huge library of DVDs in various genres at home (ie Horror, Romance, Classics, Drama, Cheesy B movies, Foreign, etc) Any suggesions on what I should check out? And why? They don't all have to be of the same genre either.

Here are just a few things I have learned over the years:

- If staying in a haunted house, women will investigate strange noises wearing their most revealing underwear.
- Make-up can safely be worn to bed without smudging.
- Action heroes never face charges for manslaughter or criminal damage despite laying entire cities to waste.
- You're likely to survive any battle in any war unless you make the mistake of showing someone a picture of your sweetheart back home.
- If there is a deranged killer on the loose, this will coincide with a thunderstorm that has brought down all the power and phone lines in the vicinity.
- During all police investigations, it will be necessary to visit a strip club at least once.
- Dogs always know who's bad and will naturally bark at them.
- Cars and trucks that crash will almost always burst into flames.
- If you decide to start dancing in the street, everyone you bump into will know all the steps.

Why are 13 year old girls stereotyped as slutty dressers that wear too much makeup? Isn't that a little judgemental? I'm 13 going on 14 myself, and I barely wear any makeup at all, and I don't wear anything outside of the range of t-shirts and jeans, same with my friends! Why is this stereotype active?
