my heart has many hidden rooms and constellations. and only those closest to me get to view them.....they are very safe places i learned to hide when i was a child, and yet very beautiful places. they are where i go to create my music and my poetry.

I have much that I keep hidden. That is because I either feel awkward sharing it, or because when I do I tend to get hurt. There are few that I feel comfortable around. But I do share with a select few.

What a beautiful question.
The Celts believed that there was a world within every person, and through friendship you shared that world with others. The believed that when you entered someone's house, you brought your whole inner world into the house with you.
Another interesting Celtic concept is that of Anam Cara. Your 'Anam Cara' is your soul friend - the one with whom you can be yourself, and allow complete access to your inner world. The beautifully written book 'Anam Cara' by John O'Donohue gives an in depth explanation of this life affirming Celtic concept.

My heart appears to be hidden from me but not from others. i put other people before me, but I think that is the right thing to do.

yes, that Iwill never find true love. My friends and family do not want to hear it anymore so it is hidden my heart.
