No it's not weird however, you should not put all of your 'idolizing' into an unknown. Maybe spend more time idolizing your Mom or Dad or someone else in the family. Singers and Actor tend to let us down somewhere along the line by being into drugs or fights or getting put into jail. I can't idolize someone like that myself.

That's now weird at all. The music industry, certain magazines and companies that make posters, shirts, ring-tones, etc make lots of money on that!!!
Now if you reach that age of like 56, live alone with your cat and still idolize that same singer and have a restraining order against you for repeatedly stalking/harassing that singer, that's another story.......

I wouldn't say it is idolizing and it is not weird every young person looks to a celebrity as someone to look up to just remember not to allow you looking up to this person to become an obsession
keep being you who really likes Will Francis

I think that's part of being a normal 13 year old. When I was 13 I loved Boyz II Men and then my focus shifted to Puffy Daddy (I know, right?) I don't give a crap about either of those 'artists' now.

Not weird at all..... we have all done it since time began. gets us thru some of lifes trials and tribulations. the only problem with idolizing someone is to realize that they are human like we are and they make mistakes. keep it real

I've got 20 years on you, honey, and I am still completely fanatic about my lifelong idol, Madonna! There could be something wrong with this at my age, but not at yours. Enjoy your youth!

No, all people go through that phase. I hope you grow out of it and become your own person sooner or later though. You shouldn't idolize people, you can admire them but be who YOU are, not them.
