I think the popularity of yahoo answers, books for dummies, and wikipedia speaks in volumes about the need for more simplified and understandable references of information. How many times have we, at work or in school, read for 3 hours about some jargonish crap some scholar wrote only to have a friend sitting next to us helps us understand in 5 minutes. Authors are either too pretentious in wordiness or too used to their own manner of arcane jargon. There needs to be a science devoted to the study of efficient communication as there is none right now I know of. I'm talking about developing standardized formats of explaination that are proven to be easier to understand for the avg reader/learner. There is already work being done for deciphering the jungle out there. It is called accelerated learning.
I like it and recommend it to everyone because learning is essential to people from all walks of life. http://www.alcenter.com/alindex.htm...
