i'm not racist or anything, so if you're white (or any other race) and reading this, please dont get mad.
i'm asking this question becasue i've noticed (or realized) that none of my family or most of the black people I know-know anything about our heritage, minus Kwanza. dont you think that we should know a lot more than we do now about our ancestors and our roots? I'm assuming we dont know now because the Europeans who took Africans from Africa stripped them of their culture, therefore losing their true identity.
once again, if you are not black, i hope you dont take this into offense.
