Every time there's a good band in town on a Saturday night, I'm there. Unless I'm working. Hmmm ... Rocky Horror plays every Saturday night half an hour from my house, so I do that a lot. Sometimes I visit friends. Or I sit on my computer and read Robert Christgau's Consumer Guides. (That would be today.)

I prefer to hang out with people (not at loud bars or clubs) if I have someone to chill with, otherwise I'll read books or do something else. I don't have a regular routine and I'm usually in a strange city where I don't know anybody. Also, sometimes I have to work on Saturday nights. Take tonight for instance, I'm in Panama City and I'm leaving for work in 5 minutes.

I went to dinner and a movie with a friend tonight.
Usually, I'm writing on my novel or practicing music...bathing or brushing the dogs, doing laundry, chatting with friends, reading...doing a craft (unless the rest of the coven is busy, then I opt for needlework or weaving).

If my husband is available, I cuddle up with him and watch a good old movie or interesting documentary. But, if he isn't I sit with my 84-year old mom and watch whatever TV show or movie she is watching.
