if you want to buy online, but the uk seller wont post to america, do you want to exchange posting privatly? that is, i accept your parcel, and foreward it, to you, you do the same for me, as there are times ive found things online, but they wont post, or, its expensive, as they put a profit on, and i have to pay vat/excise on this amount too!
obviously we'd need to communicate first, as i, or you, could simply keep the stuff! so ther's a bit of trust needed, but i only want to send/ recieve small stuff...the odd pair of trainers, etc.
we would bare postal costs ourselves, but it should work out even, and far cheaper!
also, apparently, ad hock, personal mail, is often not charged import duty on! (our post office tells me this, so its not dodgy!)
Anyone interested, or got any advice, tips?
also, do you know the postal costs (to uk) as footlocker want $30 to ship a pair of trainers? is this fair?
