My grandma has Macula Degeneration in her eyes and cannot do crosswords or read, watch tv anymore. i feel so sorry for her because all she can do is listen to the radio. Does anyone have any ideas of things she could do to fill her days in?the radio is getting a bit boring so she says! i thought about audio books but i guess thats really the same

there is this black guy working and a white guy comes in smiling and the black guy goes "man why u always smiling?" and the white guy goes "i just got me some" and the black guy says "well what did u say 2 her?" the white guy says beautiful, beautiful, pretty as a dragonfly, i want to lay u down and make love 2 u. it didnt rhyme but... the black guy goes "ok" he goes home and tries the poem and he comes back the next day with a black eye and the white guy says "damn dog what happened 2 u?" the black guy goes "i recited the poem and she hir me" the white guy says "well what did u say?" and the black guy says nappy head, nappy head, eyes like a frog, i want to bend u over and do it to u like a dog.!!!!LOL

Scattered bits and pieces

Subtle smiles,
twinkling eyes...
an outreached hand..

I walk, sleep and dream of him.
I go through each day with memories of him
like atoms rapidly circling about me
entering my thoughts and
giving way to images of him....
Of the piercing eyes that capture and keep me
in this mindful, lovesick cocoon.

I hold the vision of him in my mind
like a butterfly
that I cannot release
Feeling the desperation of the fragile wings
dusting my brain and winding itself
in the web of memories
holding him...never to be freed

The crowd in the middle of the ballroom was dancing a dance game and I didn't really want to join... so i was watching them and that guy i knew asked me to dance but as i was potentially unwilling to do so (though actually i don't really mind dancing) i also showed a little of my reluctance...... so in the end we just stood and watched those ppl dance..... I didn't realize it was 'a rejection' but felt that it was after a while but i guess it was too late.

It reminded me of a scene in Pride and Prejudice.....i know it shouldn't sound so complicated but i was thinking....was I rude?
