The crowd in the middle of the ballroom was dancing a dance game and I didn't really want to join... so i was watching them and that guy i knew asked me to dance but as i was potentially unwilling to do so (though actually i don't really mind dancing) i also showed a little of my reluctance...... so in the end we just stood and watched those ppl dance..... I didn't realize it was 'a rejection' but felt that it was after a while but i guess it was too late.

It reminded me of a scene in Pride and Prejudice.....i know it shouldn't sound so complicated but i was thinking....was I rude?

if you see him again, you might mention it to him and apologize. Tell him that you had been tired. If he's nice I'm sure he'll understand.

I don' t think so..... coz it happens.... and i guess the guy can understand that some times we don't feel like doing something. If i would have been in your place perhaps my recation would have been the same too... however if you come across that guy one day or it's possible for you to contact or meet him, then just explain the thing to him... ask him frankly if ever he had mind your reaction at the ball. And that' s it.... you will feel light....

good luck Keira Knightley!! LOL... Just kidding...

no,this like a scene fr pride n prej. but why do u call it a ball?which century r u born in?i mean it's just a dinner n dance, not a ball!n it's ok not to dance w. a guy,no one said every single guy who asks u is entitled to dance,w. you. then, they might as well drag u to dance..since implied consent given...

not really but this was disappointing for that guy. sometimes, u nerver know the intention of person, who asks u for dancing. But if his gestures r fine than you shd have dance with that guy.

anyway, plz be in peace and forget it.
