"The Becoming" by NIN: Annie, hold a little tighter I might just slip away

or The Killers: "Annie you're a star"

just two examples out of the MANY songs with the name Annie in them. Is there a reason why? just curious...

THANKS :)

I'm looking for a song heard in a restaurant, sounded like it was from the 50's. The artist is unknown, I only know he sounded like the typical smooth-singing crooner type. The only word from the lyrics I remember is "tenderly", and I remember it being mentioned a lot. I already know it's not "Tenderly" by Nat King Cole. I know it's vague, but does this sound familiar to anyone?

...listening to a genre you had previously dismissed or disliked.

I never used to listen to electronic/dance music, and never really found it that interesting or appealing, until a friend of mine insisted a few years ago that I listen to Daft Punk, and subsequently The Knife. Ever since I've been hooked on electronica.

Has this sort of thing ever happened to you?

There was this old song playing, and it was by a band like the beetles. All I remember was a picture of these guys sitting on top of a huge pile of matches. They had this song which I really liked.... All I remember was the chorus said something about "Match stick man".

Does anyone know? I really want it. :-)

Thanks.

I need a song for a video that I'm doing about women's small business month. I need something that is upbeat, preferably sort of current, non-country. I've already used "sisters are doing it for themselves"...i need something around that same theme of powerful business woman. Any ideas?

Lol, I remember hearing it in fourth grade, and it was still a bit old, now I'm in eight, but anywho, how old is it? Cause my e-friends are having a haloween party and they told me to bring something that wil bring back memories. How does this song have memories with me? God, my friends (e-friends) danced like total skanks (yes, guy too) to this song at a party two years ago. Soo, and if its not so much trouble, can someone send me the link to download it? Not iTunes please!!!
