I'm planning to ask my cousins to make me a mix. I just want to know what YOUR favorites are. Please put newer songs only or maybe a good older rock song. Oh, I don't wanna waste another 5 points because I already don't have a lot of points, so if you know who sings "This is Halloween" and "What's This?" on the movie 'Nightmare Before Christmas'(the original artists).

i believe the song is called 'pretty', but i'm not positive. some of the lyrics go: "moved out of the house, so you moved next door. i locked you out, you cut a hole in the wall. i find you sleeping next to me, i thought i was alone. you're driving me crazy............" nobody i know can tell me the band, and i can't seem to find it anywhere.

I recently had an audition with a band and was told they want someone with more experience. It's a little hard to take because I've always gotten positive feedback on my drumming, and I consider drumming to be a part of my identity. Of course I have only been playing about 4 and a half years, so I'm no seasoned professional. It just feels kind of rotten to get turned down. Any one have similar experiences, drummers or other musicians? How did you keep the rejection from getting you down?

Alot of people would consider death metal to be the heaviest thing ever, others find grindcore heavier, others are more scared by black metal, others by sludge...what is the heaviest type, and which bands best typify that?
(ps - No-one saying SlipKnot please. Good band, but not one of the heaviest. Thanks.)

it could be by cat stevens, steely dan or similar type of artist - it goes something like this ( i have heard the song only twice - in 2004 and in 1992 ) - " ive seen sunshine , ive seen rain, .......but i allways thought that i would see you again," ....or.... "i never thought that i wouldnt see you again"

one song is CAN YOU STAND THE RAIN...
the other goes WE'VE TO THE END OF THE ROAD, STILL I CANT LET YOU GO, ITS UNNATURAL...
and MY CHERIE AMOR, LOVELY AS A SUMMER DAY...

these songs are sung on making the band 4 if that is a better clue.
