"Metallica" the black album, whatever you wanna call it. Sure its what turned them pop, sure its what made them "sell out" (like you'd turn down fame and money), sure its stereotypical answer. But theres a reason for all that. Several actually. "Enter: Sandman" "The Unforgiven" "Nothing else matters" just to name a few. Its the album that brought them to the masses attention, because it is a definitive work in music.

Not sure what is the best album, but ONE is their best song. It is on And Justice For All. This song has great lyrics. Wow. This topic made me search for the video. The song was used in the movie "Johnny Get Your Gun" which is an American classic in literature.
