I play acoustic guitar. I'm teaching myself guitar, so I DON'T HAVE A TEACHER. Whenever I play a chord I always end up hitting a string I'm not supposed to hit. Do your hands eventually adjust and stop hitting the wrong strings or is there something I should do?

My boyfriend has the first Guitar Hero and my brother has the second one. I haven't played either of them in a long time. I remember in one of them was a metal song I really liked, but I couldn't remember who it was by. I went to Ozzfest on Tuesday and Lamb of God was there and they played that song but they didn't say the name. Does anyone know the name of the Lamb of God song in one of the Guitar Hero games?

I think it could of easily been the late 60's / early 70's. You had bands like Led Zepplin & Ozzie but others such as Temptations and the Four Tops and you cant forget about the beetles and Elvis. This was an amazing time period.

But I got to thinking about the mid 90's and the emergance of Rap and Hip-Hop to mainstream all the while Hair bands and Grunge were still rocking.

What are your thoughts?

Hey.

I'm looking for a song in the hip-hop genre that is G-rated (well... not like Disney, but no rampant sex/drugs remarks.) Most importantly, it needs to have something car-centered.

"Ride wit' me" by Nelly has already been suggested.

Would anyone like or want to see this type of band active in the music industry?

The way this would work is that we would have a number of members in one group, each representing a different genre of music - one popstar (or two), one punk rocker, one alternative/metal rock singer, one jazz musician, one country-western singer, one R&B/soul diva/divot, and one rap/hip-hop prodigy - each singing the same songs and producing the same album, and going on the same tour if successful. Would you support something like this and buy their CD, and listen to this type of band's music?

And what would be an appropriate name for this band?

I think it would be a refreshing idea, as a break from the all this mainstream stuff.

Ok i hav a debate in a week about copying music and my side is to debate about how it is not illegal to download music. Ok so they all say that artists are losing money because of downloadable music but if you think about it we buy our music from a music store in a shop..... so then obviously that shop bought those cd's from a wholesaler.... then that wholesaler ordered them directly from the music label company... and duh the wholesaler pays the music company and so on.... so in the end the record label still gets the money from the cd's bought by the wholesaler.... and the music store where we buy it from then only loses money..... so why r they moaning about artists and them losing money???

do you think downloading music should be made illegal i mean cuz the singer arent gettin paid for their services unless the songs are frm rhapsody or i-tunes do you think websites like esnips and limewire should be shut down i personally do but wat are you guys opinion...because in my opinion the only download sites should be ones that you pay for wat do you think?
