"This Woman's Work" in She's Having A Baby. It's the scene where he Kevin Bacon is in the waiting room and things have gone wrong with the delivery of his baby. He is in there thinking he's gonna lose both his wife and the baby and realizing that he had everything he could ever want just as he is about to lose it. There is this shot where a tear drops from his face and they transition to the delivery room and the tear becomes a drop of blood. That scene always gets me and the song brings that up every time I hear it.

"Losing my way"! By Justin Timberlake.
It is a sad song about life and drugs and loss that can happen to anyone I think. The part that hits me is when he talks about never being able to see the color of his daughter eyes due to his mishaps and is probably in jail or something. Check it out, I think you will like it.
I am not a JT fan, by far, but that is one song that stands out I think.
Good question.

it makes me cry because i had feelings for someone for years and years and i had planned on telling them when they came back from the east coast but the day before they were supposed to arrive here, they got into a horrible car accident and passed away. i can just, really relate to this song.

Tall trees in Georgia, by Eva Cassidy.
The saddest song ever, covered by one of the best singers ever. If you never heard of her, it's a shame. She died of melonoma while she was still young...
Oh, and her Live at Blues Alley is one of the greatest albums ever that hardly anyone knows about.

The saddest song for me is "What No My Love"--it's French of course...
But for a tune without lyrics, it's "You Don't Know Me"...
