Who is he?
I only know he's a singer/guitarist, is he very very very good

Ive been playing guitar for 3-4 years and listening to Hendrix at least as long. I want to know some examples of his licks as well as how he molds them into his songs and somehow stays within the rhythm and key of the song. Also wondering how he does this in combination with lightning-quick scale runs and chord progressions all in the form of a song. After listening to your answers, I will spend forever practicing these. Thanks for your time and answers. Keep on jammin'.

it was on a rock mix album i think and the lyrics go something like 'from the west side to the east side'. and something about north and south as well. my little sister calls it 'just 16' so i might be something like that??
