Ive been playing guitar for 3-4 years and listening to Hendrix at least as long. I want to know some examples of his licks as well as how he molds them into his songs and somehow stays within the rhythm and key of the song. Also wondering how he does this in combination with lightning-quick scale runs and chord progressions all in the form of a song. After listening to your answers, I will spend forever practicing these. Thanks for your time and answers. Keep on jammin'.

I like, "Rockin' around the Christmas tree", by Brenda Lee, or, "Where are you Christmas?", by Faith Hill.

There is this song that I heard the other day and I can't remember the tune or the lyrics. It is a slow rock/pop song from the 90's and it was really popular and famous. It sounded almost like Sarah McLachlan. Any ideas?

It goes like this:
"Come on over,
Come to the corner,
My sisters and my brothers,
Care for one another,
Will you feel that sunshine?
Telling you to hold tight,
Things will be alright,
Tryin' to find a better life..."

Please help me, I love it and I hear it on the radio all the time.
