Music - 4 November 2006

I just bought a 1996 Fender 50th Anniversary Eric Clapton Signature Series Stratocaster today. I was told it was made in America, but when I took it home I noticed there's no mention anywhere on the guitar of where it was made. I definitely paid a price that would be charged for a USA Strat, so I want to be sure. Can I tell by looking at the serial number?

I know I have heard the song before on some other movie and if I knew that then I might be able to find the song. However, if you know the name to the song that would be so much easier and better. And if you know the name of the song and the name of the other movies/movie trailers it has played on, that would be awesome.

for the DVD market there are different regions where they will play in some countries, but not in others. Hence: a DVD from Canada will play in the USA, but it won't over in other countries.

Are CD's the same way, or can I expect a CD from Russia (american artist) to play over here?
