I was a child during the 70s and listened to AM radio all the time. I just was too young to care about song titles or artists, so have little idea where to start. To give you an idea, I like Boz Scaggs, early Chicago, Earth, Wind, and Fire...that kind of stuff. Thanks!

It is supposed to make things easier but it seldom does! Think of artists like Bjork. She definitely defies cateforisation. Even Queen fall under all sorts of categories(pop, rock,dance) in the itunes database.Do we really need categories to enjoy music?

I just heard this song on the radio, and it got shut off before I could hear the whole song and I have NO idea what the name or the band is! The lyric I have goes "my dad took me to see a marching band and said son..." and i cant remember anymore!!
