I have to admit that I like Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" if we're talking strictly current songs. I also like the songs Neo comes out with. They're sweet and sappy but have a nice sound to them. I haven't heard an original-sounding rap song in a long time. Everything sounds the same and uses way too much repetition.

I like War with God by Ludacris. I like it because he is being real to his listeners. I am or used to be a die hard hip hop fan. The beats, lyrics, were the sh*t. Now you have to be shot 9 times, and serve time in prison for drugs and murders to receive street credibility. I like War with God because Ludacris is proud not to have been in jail, not been a drug dealer, never being shot, and he is still successful. Some artist lie about what they been through and what they've done to seem tough, and some have actually lived it. Ludacris and Kanye are setting standards showing that you don't have to have a criminal background or criminal tendencies to rap.
