Does anyone have any movies they've seen with really astounding cinematography and stunning film locations? I am just curious to see what everyone's favorites are. Haha anyone else care to share? Most of the ones I like are just cheesy romance chick flicks while others are serious dramas. (The story/overall movie/acting, etc doesnt have to be amazing.) Some of mine are:

Brokeback Mountain
Cold Mountain
I havent seen The Legends of the Fall before but i hear it is really nice. i cant wait to see it.
I hear All The Pretty Horses is really pretty too.
LOTR
POTC
The Painted Veil (one of my personal favorites)
The Notebook

When I was younger, I remember watching a horror movie on HBO or something. It had a leprechaun and was taken place in a bowling alley. All I really remember is the leprechaun went around killing these teenagers in the bowling alley in the middle of the night. Of course there was lots of sex and nudity (what cheesed out horror movie from the late 80's/early 90's didn't have it?) I know it's not any of the actual "Leprechaun" movies, at least I don't believe so.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I must have been misinformed but can someone fill in the holes for me? I was told that Jet Li's Fearless was suppose to be his last movie or at least the last one he would act in, others following he would only direct. If that is true what's with the movie War? Or if I was told wrong please tell me what's really going on.

I already tried to find the song on the soundtrack but it's not there. The song plays during the scene with the party, it's sung by a woman, and it plays right before Maggies Farm. It's probably listed on the credits.

I am looking for a name of a movie. It is R rated or more. It stars a beautiful white girl, with brunette hair. It starts I belive with a shower scene, follows to a strange on-street interview. She gets hit on often, has sex with boyfriend and a lesbian friend. The boyfriend then makes an offer with a rich old man to sell a sexual opportunity with the brunette. She gets the old man to give her millions for this. Then, she tells the boyfriend she only got a hundred dollars. The boyfriend kills the old rich man and I believe he goes to jail. If you know this movie, you will be greatly rewarded.

I don't remember very many details anymore. A wild lady comes into a big city and a business man is told to put her on a bus out of town. I remember there was a female lion in it that the lady wanted to find a home for. The lion had a diamond collar. The movie was a comedy romance. I think it was in the 80's. Does anyone have any clue what I'm trying to describe? Thanks

I haven't seen the movie myself so I can't give a lot of details, but I know it's a recent release and I believe it's about some black kids in a high school and some sort of a competition. I know I would recognize the title if I heard it....does anybody know which one I'm thinking of?

I don't think it's because of the higher picture/sound quality of DVDs. Before DVDs existed, VHS was the highest quality available. I don't think people refrained from buying them because they were waiting for some other technology years in the future.
