I'm Chinese, and I usually find Zhang Yimou's films (Flying Dagger, Hero, etc) highly exaggerated and out of Chinese character. I saw the trailer for Golden Flower, and I just remember that the queen (Gong Li) plus a lot of the court maids, were wearing very un-Chinese corsets that squeezed their breasts way out of proportion... Not a good impression. Anyone seen it? Would you recommend that I see it?

The objective behind these movies is positive, and the first two or three were entertaining. However, they're now just repetitive and predictable. Now Hillary Swank is starring in "Freedom Writers". If Hollywood MUST continue with these type of movies, what type of suggestions or ideas would you recommend for the Teacher/Student type plot? Maybe a different kind of teacher at an uptight by the book boarding school? Dunno.

All I can remember is a scene where in there is a group of young guys and they are chanting to their guy friend something like "kick his butt Ted, kick his butt Ted!" and then a girl cuts off the chant by yelling "SHUT UP" and the group of guys all look at each other and start a new "kick her butt then, kick her butt then!".......Another thing I remember about the girl in the movie is that sometime during the movie she says "He touched me on my hiney. No one touches me on my hiney!!!" And that's all I can remember. If anyone figures it out you'll have saved the minds of many as none of my family members can remember the movie but all remember the same lines.
