Looking for a film shown on ch4 in early eighties, a man and wife, have a portrait of their house on the living room wall, they notice one day, a ghostly dark figure has appeared in the portrait.
and it starts moving towards the house..
On the last day, the figure is on the doorstep in the portrait, and they hear knocking at their real front door.... i have tried ch4/imdb but no luck.... thanks to all that help

wonder what the movie is all about while watching, and even more perplexed at what the ending was all about, and then wonder, while scratching your head "what did I just see". Total confusion. Name that movie.

No, it's not Happy Feet. No, it's not March of the Penguins or the Madagascar penguins either. It's an obscure title I remember watching on VHS when I was little. It was a 2-D cartoon, and it tells the life story of a penguin, from chick to adult. He(it's a male) was blue in colour, name was Casper or somethin like that. I was traumatised when he as a chick fell into the icy water (he was staring at his reflection) and nearly drowned, but somebody saved him. He has this female penguin pal (eventual love interest), I think she was pink. They grow up. The duo got stranded in the ocean when the ice shelf they were on broke off and drifted away. They met a black macaroni penguin, who acts as a cool sidekick. Then, they end up on a fishing trawler, where the macaroni tries to elude the fishermen while blue saves pink. Eventually, blue & pink meet up with their herd and the macaroni leaves them. And the circle of life continues. Oh, and there was a theme song! Can anybody help identify this?

They scare me just a bit.Well,a lot.usually when i watch a horror movie,i like to see the ending credits and who played the villian guy.knowing who the actor/actress was stops me being so scared of them in a way.Yes I know,I am a very sad little person.
