A great soundtrack/theme should bring the film it's coming from to mind when you hear it. These are just a few of my favorites.
Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Pink Panther, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Grease, Jaws, Halloween, pretty much anything by Quentin Tarrentino

Definitely, hands down, Lord of the Rings, all three parts. Also enjoy the soundtrack of Conan the Barbarian.

Best Movie Soundtrack for me was from a film called "Malcolm" with Colin Friels, the music throughout the film was from the band "Penguin Cafe Orchestra, suited the film to a "T".
Bits of the music have been used for several ads since.

My favourite theme song is Nobody Does It Better by Carly Simon, from The Spy Who Loved Me, but for a whole soundtrack, I'd have to go for 'This Is Spinal Tap'. Classic stuff!

I love the music from the Pirates of the Caribbean films. Klaus Badelt did great work in the first movie and Hans Zimmer's eerie music in the second one was fantastic. Well done guys!
