Movies - 22 August 2006

Everyone told me is was so scary that they wanted to walk out of the cinema (maybe because i live in Australia and it is apparently based on Ivan Milat) but i saw it and the whole time i was thinking WTF are you doing? Don't do that! Turn around! so i wasn't scared.

i know aurora and ariel are like 16, but does anyone know how old Belle, snow white and the others are?
If you could point me to links that would be a great help too.
I'd also like to know how old aladdin and the guys are supposed to be too.
I heard snow white was 14, is that true?

The first movie I remember seeing at the theatre is "A Nightmare on Elm Street" in 1984. ... I Think ... I was two years old. I remember a scene where an eye is removed with a spoon. Its a pretty gruesome first memory, I know. Does anyone remember this scene? Which movie I am thinking of?

Seriously, do you think that if he was a Christian, ppl would have been this hard on him.

Personally, since when do we abolish movie stars for having an opinion or being different. Geez ppl......... I love movies. I never watch sitcoms and come on... the MAN IS GOOD!!!!!

Paramount breaks ties with him... supposedly we (the public) are being hard on him due to his comments on depression. I honestly at first felt like he was being mean then when I looked at what he actually said, I lightened up.

Ticks me off because I am a movie buff and would like to boycott Paramount but geez how do I do that.... a lot of movies.

Its long overdue! Boris Karloff (& later Bela Lugosi) played the monster. Bela Lugosi the only real person to play the original Dracula. Lon Chaney,Jr. played the Wolfman. Who would play those characters today? I think Jay Leno could play the Monster. Mr. T as Dracula (with a Mowhawk). Wolfman, probably a newcomer.What are your choices?

an does anyone else feel the same way about it?

i just dont get it, it looks kinda lame...

i mean it just sounds really dumb...and everyones getting all excited cuz someone says "mother ******* snakes on a mother ******* plane" i mean big deal, like they never heard someone swear

and the whole concept dosent seem like much to get excited about....i dont know...maybe its just me

My comrads and I are debating over Davy Jones and need outside opinions if you please. Do you think he's evil and want him to lose? Do you want his heart distroyed? Or do you feel kinda sorry for him considering what happened to him? Do you believe that none is born evil and that they are tortured by past events? Or do you find it hard to feel compassionate toward someone so "bizaare looking"? We already have our oppinions but we'd sure appreciate knowing what you "Pirates" fans think. Thank you. :) (Personally Davy Jones and Barbossa are my top two favs)
